What the Senior Accountant will do:
- Prepare Journal entries and reconciliations across multiple legal entities and currencies in accordance with US GAAP.
- Collaborate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with external audits ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure proper governance and risk mitigation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide clear, actionable financial insights that support business strategy.
- Partner with IT and Finance leadership to evaluate and implement ERP enhancements or transitions.
Skills and experience that the candidate can bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required, MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in mid-size companies or public companies. Public accounting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing technical analysis and guidance under US GAAP.
- Proven track record working in global, multi-entity environments with multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
- Experience with M&A, ASC606 and ASC340 in mid-size SaaS companies
- Proficient in ERP systems and Excel
