Senior Accountant

ZeroFox is a leading cybersecurity company headquartered in Baltimore, MD. We’re seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you’ll drive our financial reporting, lead key monthly close activities, and partner across the business as we pursue strategic initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare the Company’s annual U.S. GAAP financial statements
• Assist with management reporting to CFO and private equity owner
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including critical areas such as revenue and sales commissions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, FP&A, and Legal
• Review accounting entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Analyze financial trends and fluctuations
• Partner with team members to maintain effective internal controls and compliance
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Assist with audit deliverables and special projects
• Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives

• Reports to: Controller
• Location: Baltimore, MD (hybrid schedule; 3 days in-office)
• Opportunities for advancement as the company continues to scale, including progression to Manager and beyond

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required
• CPA or meaningful progression toward CPA certification, required
• 2-5 years of relevant experience; public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong ownership of assigned areas; reliably drives tasks to accurate and timely completion
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Proactive and adaptable in a high growth, evolving environment
