Lead cost accounting activities, including tracking average costs, analyzing variances, and managing manufacturing overhead
Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate accounting for inventory, labor, and manufacturing costs
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and continuous improvement of accounting procedures
Prepare financial reports and analyses to support leadership in operational and cost-saving initiatives
Support cash flow management in partnership with the Director of Finance
File monthly, quarterly, and annual state sales tax returns
Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the company’s ethical and professional standards
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or public accounting
Strong understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and cost analysis
Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools
CPA or CMA preferred, but not required
Salary ranges for this position are determined based on job location and experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our team members.
Salary range: $65,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience.
