Senior Accountant/ Accounting Manager
Location: On Site | Denver, CO
Reports to: VP of Finance
Comp: $80,000 to $105,000 (DOE) + 401k & Benefits

The Role
We are upgrading our accounting function to support the next phase of scale at a <$100M business. This role is designed to evolve into full ownership of backward-looking accounting, with a clear growth path.

What You’ll Own

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and electronic. Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
Oversee outsourced AP, AR, and invoicing with clear controls and KPIs
Maintain balance sheet integrity and fixed assets
Lead month end and year end close
Prepare GAAP compliant financial statements
Support annual audit and manage tax compliance, with path to lead these functions.
Partner cross functionally across the organization

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
3+ years progressive accounting experience
Strong GAAP foundation
Manufacturing or inventory experience preferred
High ownership mindset and proactive communication
ERP fluency. QuickBooks and Acctivate a plus. Strong excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze financial data, identify errors or discrepancies, and take appropriate corrective actions.
Positive ‘can do’ mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small company environment.
