Essential Job Functions:

 · Own core accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reconciliations

· Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate and timely month-end close

· Analyze financial data and independently investigate and resolve discrepancies

· Support and improve billing, collections, and cash application processes

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, including complex or variable billing components

· Partner cross-functionally with operational teams to resolve issues and improve processes

· Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and documentation requests

· Contribute to process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and operational scalability

· Develop and maintain organized accounting procedures and supporting documentation

· Provide support and backup coverage across accounting functions as needed

· Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and improve reporting accuracy

Qualifications & Skills:

 · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred

· Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles

· Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and operational accounting functions

· Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes

· Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

· Demonstrated ability to identify and improve accounting or operational processes preferred

· Experience working in fast-paced, evolving business environments preferred

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

· Proactive, solution-oriented mindset

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

· CPA or CPA candidate preferred
