The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all of the journal entries and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger, analyzing appropriate balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating and reconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts, preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis, and preparing annual work papers for year-end audits.

Education and Work Experience

1. Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
2. Four to Six (4-6) years hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience preferred.
3. Proficient in business software applications.
4. Working knowledge of windows based personal computers.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
6. Current CPA preferred.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
