Senior Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant

Our client is a growing manufacturing company looking for a Senior Accountant to grow with the organization. This is a highly visible position, working with and works directly with the CFO.

Responsibilities:Assist with financial statement preparation, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, shareholder's equity and disclosures, accurately and on a timely basisPrepare or assist in preparing additional monthly and quarterly reporting, including debt covenant compliance and key business metrics.Be a key contributor in the generation of our annual audited financial statements and supporting schedulesReview quarterly balance sheet and P&L variance analysis and prepare a consolidated analysisSupport in the researching and implementing of technical accounting interpretations and pronouncementsAssist in ensuring the accounting teams are in compliance with internal policies and proceduresWork with regional finance teams to align accounting policies and procedures for key areas globallyCoordinate with tax and international controllers on various global and statutory reporting requirementsSupport business with questions and ad hoc reporting requestsParticipate in special projects as required (e.g., global ERP implementation, M&A integration)

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accountingCPA is preferableMust be organized and detail orientedSelf-motivated and ability to multi-taskExcellent written and verbal communications skills for communicating issues to managementCritical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
