Location: This position will be based in Canoga Park, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Generates invoices (both sale order invoice and final invoice)
- Responds to customer inquiries and requests in relation to their invoices
- Opens and receives customer payments. Posts to customer open invoices/sales receipts in QuickBooks
- Assists in the processing of credit card payments
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
- Assist in preparing daily deposit
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries
- Assist in generating age analysis
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Assist in preparing Collection Report
- Assists in maintaining accounts receivable customer files and records
- Assists in maintaining Accounts Receivables open and paid files. Coordinates year-end file archiving
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Sales tax returns
- Revenue recognition analysis
- Progress billing
- Cash application
- Ensures the security, integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Back up assistance with permit checks entry into Excel
- Back up assistance with front desk functions: answering phones, mailings
- Participates as needed in special department projects or tasks
Job Requirements:
