Are you ready to elevate your career in finance? Our esteemed client, a leading Investment Management firm located in the heart of Midtown, is expanding, offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join their Finance team as a Senior Accountant.

As a pivotal member of the Finance department, you'll collaborate with industry experts and report to the Alternatives Core Accounting Manager. They value motivation, analytical thinking, and team spirit, empowering you to tackle complex challenges while embodying their cultural values.

Responsibilities: 

• Managing month-end close processes
• Preparation of Supplemental GAAP schedules and quarter-end deliverables for seed investments
• Reviewing NAV packages for the Firm’s hedge fund and performing capital allocations
• Preparing regulatory filings and financial statements
• Serving as a liaison with auditors and cross-functional teams
• Providing investment-related information, identifying and explaining key variances, and creating commentary for monthly reports 

Your Required Skills

• A BA in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• CPA certification is advantageous
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in both public accounting and private industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail orientation and effective communication
• Excellent multitasking abilities and time management
• Proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of Epicor and Oracle as a plus

Salary Range: The base salary for this role ranges from $105,000 to $115,000, with variations based on experience, skills, and location. Eligibility for their annual incentive program is subject to individual and organizational performance.
