Senior Accountant - Leading Industry Pay

CV Resources has partnered with a fast-growing and well-respected residential construction company on the search for a Senior Accountant! *This is a full-time on-site position*

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a well-rounded Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial analysis, policy development, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies through the development and implementation of appropriate procedures.
• Lead accounts payable/receivable, vendor management, and payroll processes for multiple entities.
• Conduct general ledger account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and journal entries.
• Prepare and review financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedure manuals.
• Collaborate with various departments to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
• Assist with audits and examinations as required.
• Facilitate bank transactions, including account receivables, deposits, and wire transfers.
• Monitor and manage company credit card transactions.
• Process employee expense reimbursements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience overseeing revenue of $15+ million.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Experience with payroll management and California sales tax preparation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
