Senior Accounting Analyst

There are 2 positions available.

This position is responsible for continuous improvement efforts and projects as well as preparing statutory quarterly and annual reporting. This role reports to a Senior Accounting Manager.

Position Compensation Range:

$76,000.00 - $125,000.00

Primary Accountabilities

* Prepares schedules, exhibits and footnotes for the quarterly and annual statutory statements.
* Prepares ledger adjustments and reconciliations in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
* Ensures timeliness and accuracy of all financial statements through high-level financial analysis and coordination with transaction processing units.
* Develops extensive knowledge of statutory accounting principles.
* Proactively identifies and aids in process improvement department initiatives based on best practices.
* Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

* Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
* Demonstrated experience in communicating financial information.
* Demonstrated experience managing/leading projects.
* Knowledge and understanding of, and demonstrated experience utilizing, concepts related to accounting and accounting systems.
* Demonstrated experience with spreadsheets utilizing complex functions and formulas.
* Knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, financial analysis, budget and forecasting techniques or internal controls.

Travel Requirements

* Up to 5%.

Prefer candidates who have experience with financial reporting.

Location information:

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110.
