Cryogenic Industrial Solutions (CIS) is a Fort Collins-based company delivering comprehensive cryogenic solutions through three specialized divisions.

Together, we provide end-to-end support for our customers across industrial gas, energy, and construction sectors. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team and support the day-to-day financial operations of our multi-entity organization.

Position Overview:

The Senior Accounting Specialist is a full-time, hourly position based exclusively at our Fort Collins office. This is an on-site role — hybrid or remote work is not available. Reporting to the Controller and coordinating with the entire accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, deadline driven and experienced in handling complex accounting functions in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile cash accounts, credit card billing, vendor      statements, and intercompany transactions 
• Set up and maintain vendor and customer accounts, manage      purchase orders and inventory
• Oversee daily accounts payables and receivables      across multiple CIS divisions to ensure timely and accurate coding of      expenses, vendor payments and collections to ensure timely resolution of      outstanding balances
• Enter intercompany transactions and ensure      appropriate allocation of shared expenses across CIS divisions

· Build relationships at all levels of the organization to promote strong communication between departments to encourage open communication and coordination

• Preparation of Sales/Use and property tax filings
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities,      including journal entries, financial reporting, identifying variances, balance      sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and audit schedules
• Assist in preparing internal financial statements and      supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP
• Collaborate with all levels of the organization      including field operations, shop managers and logistics personnel located      at this office, other offices and field personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, or a related      field required
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger      systems
• High proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft      (specifically Excel and Word), and other financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time      management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet      deadlines

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• May      include sitting for extended periods, using computers, and performing      standard office functions, occasional bending or lifting
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively      in person and electronically

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts 
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
• $29.00      -$33.00 Hourly- Depending on Knowledge and Experience
