Senior Action Officer (Program Manager Master) - Defense Health Agency, U.S. Department of Defense

The Defense Health Agency is seeking a highly experienced Senior Action Officer to serve as a Program Manager Master. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, ensuring the effective execution of complex project tasks and initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison with senior-level clients, maintaining and managing critical interfaces to ensure alignment with client needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with customer and contractor personnel to formulate, review, and refine task plans and deliverables, ensuring project objectives are met and schedules are adhered to.
- Analyze and provide guidance on policy proposals and program documents to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring compliance with program task schedules and making necessary adjustments to achieve successful outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in project execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare and present status reports to senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress, risks, and recommendations.

- Minimum of 5 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience in program management or action officer roles.
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the operations of the Defense Health Agency is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of policy proposals and program documentation processes.
- Proven ability to organize and manage complex project tasks effectively while directing support functions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
