As a Senior Active Directory Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in designing and managing a robust, enterprise-scale hybrid cloud infrastructure. What You’ll Be Doing

• 
  

  Designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable AD environments including forests, domains, and domain controllers.

  
  


• 
  

  Implementing and optimizing enterprise-wide identity and access solutions aligned with security best practices.

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshooting Active Directory issues across authentication, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and endpoint integration.

  
  


• 
  

  Proactively monitoring system health, anticipating risks, and engineering resilient solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems and overseeing certificate lifecycle.

  
  


• 
  

  Acting as a technical lead on complex projects while mentoring junior team members.

  
  

Who You Are

You’re a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in Active Directory and enterprise identity management. You’re known for your proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate high-security, high-uptime environments with professionalism and precision.

What You Bring

Required:

• 
  

  Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

  
  


• 
  

  5+ years of progressive experience in Active Directory administration and engineering

  
  


• 
  

  In-depth understanding of Active Directory and LDAP authentication

  
  


• 
  

  Strong scripting ability (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with directory synchronization tools (e.g., Azure AD Connect, Cisco DirSync)

  
  

Preferred:

• 
  

  Experience with AD migrations and consolidation across domains

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with custom AD schema attributes and Azure Active Directory

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with SSO integrations and PKI management

  
  


• 
  

  Background supporting government IT operations or secure agency environments

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $145k-159k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
