Coordinate all office and secretarial support functions of a division & office. Direct support for Dermatology Divisional Chief. Often assists exempt staff in areas such as recruiting and training, budget preparation, and data analysis. Responsible for efficient operation of all administrative/secretarial support functions, issues and interprets office operating policies and procedures, and prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for solutions to administrative problems.
In some cases may also have responsibility for overseeing office or department technical support, although this in not a necessary component of the position. Usually supervises support staff.
Supporting the website developer with obtaining the contend needed for the Department of Medicine website domain.
Emailing divisions for information needed or clarification of whats already presented.
Following up with those that do not respond.
Supporting the website developer with creating content for pages that are new, like recruitment, diversity, quality, etc. This would be in collaboration with the appropriate individuals/division for each website.
Once website is LIVE:
Act as liaison between the Department of Medicine and Medical Advantage group to implement developmental changes that need to occur on the website.
Upstate the website with the changes that are manageable through the user-friendly web design platform.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and four years of administrative/office management experience including supervisory experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
