Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include

• Develop Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS native services
• Build robust REST APIs capable of handling complex data filtering and processing
• Use Python to automate and optimize AWS resources such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3
• Design scalable services within a microservices architecture
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps practices
• Support containerized deployments and cloud-native workflows
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver iterative software improvements
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders to refine requirements
• Ensure reliability, performance, and security across distributed applications

Minimum Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, OR
• Master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience working with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and CloudWatch

Required Skills

• Candidates should demonstrate experience in at least three of the following areas:
• Java Spring Boot and or Python development
• Microservices architecture design and implementation
• CI/CD tools and practices including AWS tooling, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, or Ansible
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB, including query development and schema design
• OAuth or OIDC implementation
• Automated testing frameworks and tools such as Cypress or Cucumber

Desired Skills

• Experience modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native platforms
• Strong understanding of distributed system performance and scalability
• Familiarity with container orchestration and DevOps methodologies
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

Compensation Range: $184,000.00 - $236,000.00 
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
