In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you will:
Develop and drive product definition by using analytic and simulation models (bandwidths, latencies, workloads, port counts, and types), develop high level architecture distributed system models, review, and guide product architecture specification, and specify protocols and functional interactions for the product.
Drive performance, workloads, and SLA goals.
Evaluate feasibility tradeoffs, explore, and define new approaches and novel architectures for the distributed systems especially for AI and ML training fabrics.
Collaborate with Silicon design engineers specially Design Verification teams.
Qualifications
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a STEM related field of study.
2 + years of Experience in software development, C++, vsCode, multi-threaded debugging, cloud-based software development and operation at scale.
Experience with Queuing Theory
Experience with Traffic Management
Experience in Large scale Data Center networks, especially data plane
Experience in Transport layer, state of the art, and industry evolution
Experience with L2 and L3 network protocols
Experience in Event driven network simulations and simulators (e.g. ns3, distributed ns3 over MPI, C++ written models, Python based scripts and analytics)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.

In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
