Senior Alliance Manager, BD

This role sits within the Global Partnering team and focuses on managing strategic alliances, licensing transactions, and business development initiatives with domestic and international partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead alliance management activities with strategic partners, including contract drafting, negotiation, execution, and ongoing relationship management.
  


• Support licensing transactions for clinical-stage assets, providing alliance management expertise during deal structuring and negotiations.
  


• Identify and evaluate potential partners or buyers for asset divestitures, conduct due diligence activities, and lead contract negotiations through execution.
  


• Prepare and deliver presentations and recommendations to senior leadership to support key business decisions and transactions.
  


• Build and maintain a strong external network across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology ecosystem to identify partnership opportunities and strengthen industry relationships.
  

Requirements

Ideal Background

• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
  


• 5+ years of experience in business development, licensing, alliance management, or strategic partnerships.
  


• Strong experience in contract negotiations and managing external partnerships.
  


• Fluent English communication and business negotiation skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific field (e.g., Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline) or equivalent industry experience.
  


• MBA or relevant business experience is a plus.
