Job Description - Senior Analyst /Asset recovery / Restructuring /EB-5 / Litigation support

Northport International · Orlando, FL · Full-time · On-site
2–5 yrs experience

About the role
Northport International is a Southeast-based advisory firm specializing in asset recovery, non-judicial company restructuring, EB-5 investment coordination, and client litigation management. As our first dedicated Senior Analyst, you will be the operational core of the firm — supporting all four service lines, managing case documentation, conducting financial research, and ensuring every client engagement is executed with the reliability, accountability, and transparency our firm is built on.

Core responsibilities
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on distressed companies, real estate assets, and litigation matters — including balance sheet review, asset tracing, and valuation support
  • Prepare and manage case documentation, engagement letters, client reports, and internal work product across all active mandates
  • Support EB-5 project coordination including investor documentation, USCIS filing preparation, and project economic analysis in partnership with outside immigration counsel
  • Manage litigation file organization, case budgets, attorney coordination, and client status communications for active litigation matters
  • Conduct creditor, lien, and UCC research to support non-judicial restructuring and asset recovery engagements
  • Manage litigation file organization, case budgets, attorney coordination, and client status communications for active litigation matters
  • Conduct creditor, lien, and UCC research to support non-judicial restructuring and asset recovery engagements
  • Maintain CRM, deal pipeline, and case tracking systems — ensuring no engagement falls through the cracks
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, and client contacts on behalf of the Managing Principal
  • Prepare client-facing presentations, investment memos, and case summaries with a high standard of accuracy and professionalism
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or law
  • 2–5 years in financial advisory, restructuring, banking, law firm, or related field
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills (Excel proficiency required)
  • Experience managing multiple active matters or cases simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — client-facing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred qualifications
  • CPA, JD, or paralegal certification
  • Experience with EB-5 program or immigration investment structures
  • Background in distressed real estate, creditor rights, or commercial litigation
  • Familiarity with UCC filings, lien searches, and public records research
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin) a meaningful plus for EB-5 investor relations
  • Prior experience at a boutique advisory, law firm, or family office
Values alignment
Northport expects every team member to embody our five core values in their daily work:
  • Reliability — deliver on every commitment
  • Accountability — own outcomes, not just activity
  • Company first — firm reputation above all
  • Resourceful — find the path when none is obvious
  • Transparent — honest with clients and colleagues
Compensation — Florida market calibration (2025–2026)Compensation — Florida market calibration (2025–2026)

Base salary range
$75K–$95K - Depending on experience & credentials
Performance bonus
10–20%
Tied to firm revenue & case outcomes
Total target comp
$85K–$115K
Base + bonus at full performance

Benefits & structure
  • Health insurance contribution (or stipend)
  • PTO — minimum 15 days + holidays
  • Professional development budget ($2K–$3K/yr)
  • Direct mentorship from Managing Principal
  • Clear path to Director-level role in 2–3 years
  • Exposure across all four service lines from day one
Why this role is differentiated
Unlike a large firm where analysts specialize narrowly and rarely see the full picture of a deal, this role offers genuine breadth — you will work across restructuring, recovery, EB-5, and litigation within months of joining. The firm's connection to White's Site Development and the Murphy family Trusts also means exposure to real estate development, land entitlement, and capital structuring that most advisory analysts never see. For the right candidate, this is a career-defining early role.
