Contracting is responsible for the development and execution of contract strategy and execution for customers within the JJMD Strategic Customer Group (SCG). Contracting includes the development and delivery of Contracting Strategies (contracting options / parameters by customer segment), Customer Analytics (preparation of customer-ready analytics and materials for the field to support customer updates and negotiations), Contract Administration (Contract executing, loading, and tracking compliance) and CPC governance (rules and processes for approving deal exceptions). The Contracting group works in close collaboration with the field to put together the most appropriate offering (products, pricing, solutions, and T&Cs) for the customer as possible while still supporting the objectives and strategies of the business.
The Senior Analyst Contracts Management is responsible for the development, execution, implementation, and administration of commercial contracts in support of BWI U.S. customer-facing teams. Commercial contracts include, but are not limited to pricing agreements, service agreements, evaluation agreements, rental agreements, and promotional/program agreements.
Responsibilities:
Reviews contract requests and collaborates with sales and marketing to develop offers that meet customer needs and align with commercial strategy
Manages internal offer review and approval processes
Prepares contracts, amendments, and notices in accordance with contracting guidelines
Reviews and redlines terms and conditions in partnership with legal and other internal partners
Reviews and prepares customer RFI/RFPs and coordinates with other departments to prepare response
Administers contracts through their lifecycle (including, but not limited to, system setup, records retention, payments, roster management, letters of commitment, renewal)
Monitors and reports contract performance on a regular basis to ensure contract compliance
Corresponds with sales representatives to resolve contract issues
Interfaces and coordinates between company personnel, customer contact, and third-party contact (distributor, GPO, etc.) for appropriate resolution of issues, decisions, and related contractual matters
State, Local Government and VA contracting reviews of solicitation requests and understanding of FAR clauses and Statements of Work.
Analyzes sales and contract data and prepare reports as requested for customers, sales representatives, marketing, and management
Support audits and compliance testing by providing information and supporting documents
Reviews and prepares weekly CPC submission form requests (including, but not limited to assisting in drafting the CPC request, requesting additional information from marketing or the field sales organization, or tech services upon request)
Identifies critical pre- and post-execution contractual issues and escalates them to the appropriate business or legal partners to mitigate, reduce, and eliminate risks for the US business; drives cross-functional team discussions to build consensus and implements the necessary resolution of such issues.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required
A concentration in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, or related field is preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of business experience is required
Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time sensitive environment is required.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of contracting, sales marketing, or commercial operations
Prior experience working with customer and field sales facing teams is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complexity is required
Knowledge of Sales Force preferred not required
Strong communication skills (presentations, listening, written skills) are required
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales / customer focused environment is required
Drive to understand business products and offerings, strategies and business objectives is required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required
Ability to work in a team environment is required
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines is required
Ability to present detail data in a clear and concise manner is required
Excellent interpersonal skills are required
Intermediate/Advanced with Microsoft Toolset including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
This position is in Irvine, CA.
Requires up to 10% travel.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $69,000 to $110,400. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
