Rivel is currently seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join our Governance and Sustainability team. The position requires someone with at least 2 years of work experience in sustainability/ESG or corporate governance, ideally with past experience working in-house, in a consulting role, or at an investment firm. This full-time role will come into the office if local to Westport, CT (with flexibility to work from home), otherwise remote. The range of base compensation for this position is a minimum of $68,000 to a maximum of $80,000. Compensation for any employee in this position is adjusted based on skill, effort, responsibility, education, training, credentials, geographic location, working conditions, and/or experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist consultants in advising clients on sustainability, corporate governance, and ESG strategy, programs, disclosures, and engagements.
  • Support the development of client presentations and reports.
  • Research and analyze governance and ESG topics, developments, policies, and best practices.
  • Work in a collaborative and innovative environment. We want to hear your ideas!
     
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in sustainability/ESG or corporate governance.
  • Past experience working in-house, in a consulting role, or at an investment firm, a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESG reporting standards, frameworks, and regulations, such as: ISSB/SASB, TCFD, UNSDGs, GRI, CSRD, SEC climate rules, etc.
  • Experience creating, assisting with the creation of, or reviewing ESG disclosures (ESG/Sustainability Reports).
  • Experience with or knowledge of ESG ratings agencies and surveys: CDP, ISS, MSCI, S&P CSA, Sustainalytics, etc.
  • Ability to understand and articulate opportunities to improve ESG strategies, disclosures, and performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and work in a low-ego environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and alignment with Rivel's core values.
