In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering, testing, development, to deployment. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing functionality using languages like Kotlin and Java, while ensuring quality through unit and integration testing. Moreover, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that align with business goals, fostering an innovative and effective work environment.
Accountabilities
- Participate in the complete software development cycle.
- Develop and maintain new functionalities in services primarily with Kotlin and Java.
- Ensure solid knowledge of messaging tools like Kafka and SQS.
- Understand software architectures and database design concepts.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality.
- Create and maintain documentation for services and support business development.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Construct dashboards and alarms to monitor service health.
- Support customers in designated service channels.
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
- Proactively engage in problem resolution.
Requirements
- Experience in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of design patterns.
- Experience with Terraform & CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka and data-driven architectures.
- Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Work experience in an agile development environment.
- Knowledge of GIT.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Familiarity with building lambda architectures.
- Experience in integration testing.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with relational databases.
- Experience in query construction.
- Familiarity with Docker.
