Job Description - Senior Appian Developer (Federal)

We are looking for a Senior Appian Developer/Lead who will work closely with clients, product owners, and stakeholders to design and implement software solutions that best meet business needs. You should be hands-on and able to plan and lead complex Appian software development projects.

Day-to-Day Job Functions
This role will require you to do the following tasks:

Participate in analysis, design, and new development of Appian-based applications.
Create and maintain various applications built using the Appian Business Process Modeling (BPM) frameworks.
Build applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, integrations, etc.
Validate the solution against best design practices and work on quick prototyping to get client feedback to achieve the desired outcome.
Perform Appian-specific performance tuning efforts to ensure the design implements scales that are well for business needs.

Required Skills
Applicant must have the following skills and achievements:

Skilled in Appian automation using FitNesse.
Excellent communication skills
Demo development efforts to the Program team.
Work closely with testers/QA teams and the UI/UX team.
Conduct peer reviews, unit testing, and code reviews.
Build Appian plugins and Appian embedded interfaces.
Appian Certified Senior Developer

Work Authorization: This role requires US Citizenship and willingness to go through the clearance process.
