Senior Application Laboratory Technician Princeton, NJ On-Site We are looking for a Senior Application Laboratory Technician to support dsm-firmenich project initiatives for Taste applications for our Health, Nutrition, and Care division. In this role you will be responsible to ensure best resources are used to execute on exciting customer briefs to deliver not only business growth but great tasting and healthy products to consumers. Your key responsibilities Prepare and apply flavors in food/beverage samples for evaluation, client submission, and product development in alignment with project briefs. Conduct laboratory analyses (e.g., Brix, pH), stability tests, and flavor solubility checks following established protocols. Maintain laboratory operations, including equipment upkeep, hygiene standards, and raw material/Flavor stock management. Coordinate sample logistics, including preparation, packaging, documentation, and dispatch to clients. Support client interactions by participating in tastings, onsite visits, and providing training on laboratory equipment. Independently manage small-scale projects and contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and compliance with QHSE standards. You bring Knowledge of the Food, Food supplement or Pharma industry, Food ingredients and Flavors Good experience (2 years minimum) in Food / Flavor Product Development Proactivity and outside of the box thinking Ability to influence others and synthetize information Experience in project management, rigorous, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional communication, autonomous, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to take initiative Technical education in food formulation or Flavors About dsm-firmenich At dsm-firmenich, we don't just meet expectations - we go beyond them.
