Senior Application Security Engineer / Pittsburgh Hybrid

This healthcare SaaS company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to hit the ground running. This person will be responsible for debugging code, securing their AWS applications, and identifying security vulnerabilities. This is a hands-on technical position that also offers influence on the department and direction of the security program. The company has a small but mighty cyber security team right now, and this person will mostly be collaborating with the software development team. This is a full-time position that is flexible hybrid in Pittsburgh PA, so only local candidates will be considered.

Ideal candidates will have around 7 years of experience in the security space, but the company will consider someone with fewer years if they have a background as a software engineer. Skills in Python and/or Java are preferred, and AWS experience would be huge. Classic application security functions like SAST and DAST will also be required.
