About the role

We are seeking a dynamic senior associate eager to support one of our largest and fastest growing accounts that is building an unbranded celebrity campaign to address a public health concern that impacts millions of people around the world. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day account needs, working closely with and junior staff members to provide counsel and manage day-to-day work, in addition to serving as a client contact.

The ideal candidate should have healthcare communications experience within an agency environment, as well as excellent writing and communications skills and a proactive, resourceful, and entrepreneurial spirit. The person in this role will work with other dna staffers as well as a cross-functional team of experts from across the broader Interpublic Group (IPG) network to support campaign development and execution. 

What we are looking for:

• Experience developing workback plans and executing a material from ideation through client review processes (e.g., Veeva submissions, referencing, uploads)


• Proactivity when coordinating projects and managing timelines


• Experience working in a client-facing environment 


• Strong understanding of communications field, including  traditional public relations and digital/social media 


• Attention to detail


• Strong presentation skills, poise and professionalism

The requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher


• 2-3+ years of agency experience


• Understanding of communications in a regulated space


• Understanding or eagerness to learn how to work in integrated agency teams (Earned Media, Social, Partnerships, Creative)


• Can promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational functions


• Can handle multiple deliverables at once


• Outstanding communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation)


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail


• Focused on problem solving

NYC Salary range: $68,000 - $78,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
