Schedule: 4/10, Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts with Friday, Saturday & Sunday Off

Job Description:

The Electrical Engineering position is in a fast paced and dynamic environment requiring tasking flexibility to meet ever changing customer objectives. Primary responsibilities include design, development, and support of ruggedized electronics for a variety of military fuzing and ordnance systems throughout the full product life cycle. It will require the ability to work within a team structure as well as work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial.



Essential Functions:

Design, analyze, and test analog and digital circuits consisting of differential amplifiers, op amps, comparators, LDOs, filters, data converters, sensors, logic gates, counters, timers, microcontrollers, FPGAs, etc.
Evaluate designs and diagnose anomalous circuit behavior using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.)
Develop circuit models and run simulations using simulation tools (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.)
Generate technical documentation (Test Plans, Test Reports, Drawings, etc.)
Regular communication with internal team members and customers
Ability to travel 5%
Ability to obtain a government issued, Secret level clearance if needed in the future.



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or a Graduate/Master’s Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience is required.
1+ years of the following:Experience with basic analog building blocks including differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters
Experience with basic digital building blocks including logic gates, flip flops, timers, and filters
Experience in troubleshooting using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.)
Experience with modeling and simulation utilities (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.)
Experience in creating technical documentation (test plans, test reports, drawings, etc.)





Preferred Additional Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with 2+ years of professional experience highly desireable.
Experience with power supply and power conditioning design
Experience with power conversion concepts (AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies)
Experience with serial communication buses including UART, SPI, and I2C
Experience with temperature sensors, MEMs accelerometers, differential pressure sensors, and GYROs
Experience in module design including component selection, circuit analysis, circuit design, and layout
Experience with general design best practices (EMI suppression, ESD protection, and Short circuit protection)
Experience working in highly regulated environment
Experience with Root Cause analysis
Proficient in MS Office applications
