The Senior Quant Analyst is an experienced position on the Home Lending Data and Analytics team who will perform reporting and data analysis functions in support of the various functional areas of Chase Mortgage Banking.
As an Sr. Associate Quant Analytics in the home lending data and analytics team, you will work in a complex data environment as well as partner with the business to find creative solutions to business problems and provide actionable information to business leaders.
Job Responsibilities :
* Assure the integrity of data, including data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting* Work with business functional area counterparts to develop interactive dashboards and management reporting using business intelligence software* Work on SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle databases including creation of Functions, Procedures and Triggers* Design and develop data structures (data marts, cubes) that enable reporting and analytics to be developed efficiently.* Create SSRS reports and utilize SSIS packages for the ETL functionality* Partner with business owners to implement new data sources and ensure consistent definitions in reporting and analytics* Generate ideas for improvement in reporting as well as new ways of looking at information using visualization tools such as Tableau and SSRS* Develop, test, and implement daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that enable data driven business decisions using BI tools* Integrate Home Lending Data analytics with Hadoop, Hive, Python and other big data tools* Perform in depth analysis of the Home Lending data and surface actionable recommendations in line with LOB partner goals and KPIs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
* 3+ years of Business Analyst work experience* 3+ experience working with Business Intelligence (SSRS, SSIS, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, JIRA, SharePoint, etc.)* College degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience* Demonstrable experience in analyzing complex processes and systems* Experience in writing and interpreting SQL* Experience documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans.* Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development, and analysis* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments* Excellent analytical and advanced problem-solving skills, the willingness to learn, and the ability to effectively communicate findings verbally and in written/presentation format.* Ability to research and resolve issues independently and also be a team player.* Critical thinking that will thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and will mesh well with a team that prides itself on attention to detail and results.- rewrite.
