Responsibilities

• Complete reviews, compilations, audits, and research
• Develop plans customized to client's particular needs
• Lead all stages of the audit, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
• Prepare and detailed review of financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP, including documentation, validation and testing
• Direct and perform detailed review for the work of our staff accountants
• Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to their requests, develop cohesive working relationships with client personnel and the assurance team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Technical Abilities   

• Knowledgeable regarding requirements and procedures applicable to audits, reviews, and compilations
• Understanding of and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Experience managing multiple engagements at the same time

Location: Whatcom (Hybrid Work Arrangement after 6 months)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another relevant field.

• 3+ years of recent experience working in public accounting and financial reporting.

• Strong academic mindset

• Highly ethical, responsible, and self-motivated

• U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or authorized to work in the U.S.
