Senior Audit

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit professional to join one of our prestigious clients in the finance industry. As part of an international group, the company provides a broad range of financial services, including Assurance, Taxation, Business Advisory, and Corporate Compliance. The Senior Audit role will focus on leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality audit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with international auditing standards.
• Review and evaluate clients' financial statements, internal controls, and risk management processes.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and ensure clients meet regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback on their work.
• Prepare and present audit reports to management and clients, identifying any areas for improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their key point of contact for audit-related matters.
• Stay updated on industry developments, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as taxation and business advisory, to provide a well-rounded service to clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) is required
• 3+ years of experience in auditing, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office
