Senior Audit Manager - C14 - Risk & Control Transformation

The Senior Audit Manager is a senior level management position responsible for managing a complex and critical unit within Internal Audit, primarily in support of Citi's Risk and Control Transformation efforts. The IA Risk & Controls Transformation audit team is responsible for providing audit coverage and validation assurance of individual initiatives under Citi's Enterprise-Wide Risk & Control Transformation Program, including but not limited to Enterprise-Wide Risk Management, Internal Controls, and Citi’s Risk & Control Self-Assessment program.

The overall objective of this role is to develop and execute a robust Audit Plan to support Transformation Audit and Issue validation efforts across the span of Citi's Risk and Control entities. This specific role will contribute to all Risk & Controls Transformation programs validation objectives. In addition, this role will also focus on managing and overseeing critical audit related activities of the Chief Auditor, IA Risk & Controls Transformation and work closely with the Chief Auditor, IA Risk & Controls Transformation in this capacity.  These activities may include:

• Transformation coverage initiatives
• Capacity Planning
• Annual Planning
• Regulatory Engagement
• Key initiatives related to stakeholder engagement, people and process improvements

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in a related role
• Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred
• Demonstrated successful experience in business, functional and people management
• Proven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high quality deliverables according to strict timetables
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniques
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
• Effective negotiation skills
• Experience developing presentations for senior audiences preferred

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
