We at Coforge are hiring Senior Automation Engineer (#21673) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for modern web and API-driven applications


• Implement and maintain CI/CD test workflows using Azure Pipelines


• Perform backend validation using SQL and data-focused testing approaches


• Define and execute test strategies including risk-based coverage, layered testing, and regression design


• Debug issues in asynchronous and distributed systems


• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality across releases

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong QA automation experience for modern web and API-driven products


• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript


• Strong SQL skills for backend validation and data-focused testing


• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD test workflows in Azure Pipelines


• Practical experience using Terraform for test-related infrastructure/configuration


• Solid understanding of test strategy (risk-based coverage, layered testing, regression design)


• Strong debugging skills in asynchronous/distributed systems


• Strong written communication for defects, risks, and test outcomes

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (k6, JMeter)


• Experience testing enterprise integrations and multi-system workflows


• Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and services


• Exposure to event-driven or message-based architectures


• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments
