The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Senior Backend .Net Developer who will be responsible for developing .NET, web-based software solutions. This development will occur in an Agile environment, typically in fixed-length sprints, with regular interactions with Product Owners and other team members. The Senior Software Engineer is expected to produce high-quality software, to interact with management and other members of the development group.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
  


• Contribute to requirements gathering and analysis activities such as storyboarding, developing use cases, and creating functional requirements specifications.
  


• Serve as technical expert on development projects
  


• Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
  


• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  


• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
  


• Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
  


• Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
  


• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  


• Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
  

Requirements

• 4 years’ of experience in a backend .NET role
  


• .Net core, MVC, and RestFul API experience required
  


• Experience with patterns such as Façade, CQRS and UnitOfWork.
  


• Proficient understanding of database (MSSQL), Indexes, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, etc.
  


• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  


• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  


• Interest with Azure development
