Senior Billing Specialist

Vixxo is seeking a full-time Senior Billing Specialist based in our Bloomfield, CT Office. (In office Monday through Thursday - Work from Home Friday)  

 THE ROLE:

The Senior Billing Specialist is responsible for leading our day-to-day billing operations. This role involves developing and overseeing billing procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and mentoring offshore staff to maintain accurate and timely billing practices. It requires meetings with operational business leaders and finance/accounting to ensure contractual guidelines are followed for both our suppliers and customers and to reconcile billing discrepancies in time.

 TOP 3 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform billing process, consolidating inbound service request invoices from providers to meet customer requirements. This includes ensuring compliance with contractual terms, accuracy, and cadence. 


• Oversee the outsource team; provide training and guidance, fostering a collaborative and effective team enviroment.


• Collaborate with other departments, including report generation and analysis, providing insights regarding revenue and outstanding balances. Review and reconcile billing discrepancies, working closely with internal teams and clients to resolve issues promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a high-volume service company


• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.


• Complex billing system (i.e, ORMB) experience preferred


• Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of Excel and other database applications


• Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines, including participating in company-wide projects and initiatives

  Other Skills and Abilities:

• A high degree of independence and ability to take initiative


• Ability to work with members at all levels of the organization

Education Requirement

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related business field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
