Primary Responsibilities
Upon hire, you will work with our team in HDR’s Denver, CO office to execute technically complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects serving municipal and federal clients across Colorado and the western United States. The technical focus of this position is development of designs, drawings and supporting documents for water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
This position will require development of design drawings and collaboration with project team members to produce design deliverables. Primary responsibilities include:
Collaboration with design team members to coordinate and integrate design components into a larger overall project. Development of models and associated drawings using Revit software. Development of civil plan and profile drawings for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Development of site grading, open channel, and pipeline designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Preparation of design details using client standards and project specific design requirements. Coordinating with Engineers and CAD technicians throughout drawing development. Preparation of figures for design reports.

Required Qualifications
Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 10 years experience in technical support of BIM applications such as AutoCAD and MicroStation and a minimum of 5 years experience with Information Technology systems Must possess basic programming skills in LISP or VBA Demonstrate a strong knowledge of industry standards and practices in the areas of CADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Land Desktop and InRoads engineering documentation and plan presentation Uses office productivity software effectively (MS Office) Be able to use Microsoft database technologies Superior client service skills and attention to detail are essential Will engage in close and effective communication with HDR management and production users Communicates effectively, as well as having an enthusiastic, energetic work ethic Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to gather, organize and interpret data for process monitoring or business case development Must have strong organization skills and sound judgment in establishing priorities among support requests and project work An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of conveyance and collection piping systems, profile development, and site grading. Experience working in ArcGIS. Experience with other CAD platforms including Microstation and Inroads. Application of client standards for details, specifications, and design criteria. Preference is given to local candidates.

The expected compensation range for this position is $79,772.00 - $113,960.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
