Senior Broadcast Engineer

Description

Pennon is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer to monitor and maintain remote production trucks, studio production, origination and transmission equipment such as cameras, videotape equipment, distribution equipment, switchers, and editors for WITF-TV and WITF-FM along with projects with our clients through Media Solutions. Our engineers determine specs and requisitions for new equipment and maintenance supplies, perform Operation Technician duties as needed, and train employees in operation of production, recording and broadcast equipment as well as engineer studio and remote audio and video productions while striving to maintain high quality control standards. 

Requirements

Candidates should have an Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electronic Technology or Broadcast Engineering and a minimum 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Shifts can include weekends and holidays. Valid driver’s license required. Class B CDL with air brake certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Must be able to work outdoors in hot and cold conditions.
