Job Description - Senior Business Analyst
Technical/Functional Skills
· Experience in workforce/employment domain:
o Wagner-Peyser (WP), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), grant management, Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS), programs, eligible training provider list (ETPL), reporting, program and participant outcomes, and customer service
o Familiarity with Federal Labor Laws and Regulations and how they affect states laws, regulations, and policy
o Familiarity with interpretation of federal directives and issuances such as TEGL, UIPL, and TEN series
· Proficient in requirements gathering, application capability demonstration, gap analysis and documentation, functional designing, and customer communication · Moderate to high proficiency using MS Office Suite of tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Scheduling meetings, participating in meetings, and moderating meetings using MS Teams, WebEx, and other similar virtual meeting/communications tools
· Excellent team skills; ablity to work independently, as a team member, or as a team leader
· Good comprehension and delivery of written and oral communication
· Proficient in problem solving and conflict resolution
· Excellent leadership capabilities to drive the functional team
