Senior Business Analyst -Digital Transformation

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Digital Operations Business Analyst to lead digital initiatives, improve business processes, and help deliver innovative technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and measurable business value. This role will be an onsite position located in Kansas City, MO. 

This position serves as a key liaison between business leaders, stakeholders, and technology teams. The Senior Digital Operations Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and guiding digital solutions from initial concept through implementation and adoption.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver with strong business analysis, product ownership, project delivery, and stakeholder management experience. This individual must be comfortable working independently, managing complex initiatives, and collaborating across multiple business functions to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  
  
  


• Lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and business process assessments.
  
  
  


• Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that enhance operational performance.
  
  
  


• Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
  
  
  


• Evaluate potential solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives, technical feasibility, and expected business value.
  
  
  

Digital Transformation & Product Ownership

• Lead complex digital initiatives from discovery and planning through implementation and continuous improvement.
  
  
  


• Serve as a Product Owner or business lead, establishing priorities, maintaining product backlogs, and developing solution roadmaps.
  
  
  


• Collaborate with developers and technology teams to design and implement scalable, effective business solutions.
  
  
  


• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to improve business processes.
  
  
  


• Support the evaluation and adoption of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
  
  
  

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment on project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and priorities.
  
  
  


• Manage project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
  
  
  


• Facilitate discussions and decision-making to resolve competing priorities and project challenges.
  
  
  


• Lead or coordinate solution testing, user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, and post-launch evaluation.
  
  
  


• Establish performance measures and track business outcomes to evaluate the success of implemented solutions.
  
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Build strong relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  
  
  


• Facilitate collaboration and alignment between business and technology teams.
  
  
  


• Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  
  


• Support organizational change through communication, training, user engagement, and adoption planning.
  
  
  


• Promote continuous improvement and ensure digital solutions effectively address business needs.
  
  
  

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to digital strategy, portfolio planning, project prioritization, and technology roadmap development.
  
  
  


• Develop business cases and recommendations to support strategic investment decisions.
  
  
  


• Establish and enhance standards, templates, and best practices for business analysis, product ownership, and project delivery.
  
  
  


• Evaluate opportunities to improve existing systems, processes, and digital capabilities.
  
  
  


• Provide guidance and share expertise to strengthen business analysis and digital delivery practices across the organization.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, product ownership, project delivery, process improvement, or digital transformation.
  
  
  


• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple competing priorities.
  
  
  


• Strong experience gathering business requirements, analyzing workflows, and developing actionable solution recommendations.
  
  
  


• Experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams to implement technology solutions.
  
  
  


• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, product ownership, backlog management, and project delivery practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  
  
  


• Five or more years of relevant experience in business analysis, product management, digital transformation, or related disciplines.
  
  
  


• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  
  
  


• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Copilot.
  
  
  


• Knowledge of workflow automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and emerging digital technologies.
  
  
  


• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project and work management tools.
  
  
  


• Experience developing business cases, product roadmaps, and performance metrics.
  
  
  


• Familiarity with portfolio planning, governance, and organizational change management.
