Job Description:

Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Change Management Specialist to join our team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role requires a recognized level of expertise in change management, with responsibilities that include advising on and implementing strategic directions and supporting strategic planning. The ideal candidate will facilitate the development of strategic goals, objectives, strategies, and performance measures, ensuring successful organizational change and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice on establishing and implementing the customer's strategic direction.
Support the strategic planning process, including the development of strategic goals, objectives, strategies, and performance measures.
Lead change management initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and facilitating effective transitions.
Design and implement communication and training programs to enhance stakeholder engagement and ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
Evaluate the impact of changes and continuously adjust strategies to maximize outcomes.

The position operates on a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site presence for five days each pay cycle, primarily in the DC metropolitan area, at various identified VA location.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum 8 years of experience in change management or a related field.
Proven ability to advise on and implement strategic organizational changes.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and the development of performance measures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner).
Knowledge, experience and understanding of VHA.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Eligibility:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.

Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The proposed salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000.
