Engineering Analytics, Inc. is now a part of MacKay Sposito and we are looking for a dedicated and relationship-driven Senior Civil & Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Fort Collins, CO. 

A variety of responsibilities is what makes this role exciting! You will engage in various types of work to ensure the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities will include supporting senior staff for mine-permitting, operations and closure design; this position requires a high level of written and oral communication skills. Willingness to travel on temporary assignments as needed. You will also work with multi-disciplinary teams including geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineers to meet our client’s expectations and needs. Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Support project management 
• Perform analyses and prepare reports/drawings
• Help oversee junior staff
• Interface with clients
• As needed, assist market sector lead with marketing and preparation of proposals and cost estimates
• Assist on project work for other market sectors as needed
• Construction Management is anticipated for this position

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering
• P.E. required in Colorado, PE in other South-Western States a plus
• 5-8 years of experience in tailings impoundments, heap-leach pads, waste rock piles, and mine reclamation

Analyses capabilities in the following areas:

• Slope stability
• Infiltration/Seepage
• Deformation Analyses
• Geo-civil analyses and design

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

The wage range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.  

Full time employees receive a well rounded benefit package including access to our company sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company 401k plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays and are eligible to avail of employee ownership options. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual profit sharing bonuses.
