Senior Civil Engineer

Cortina Solutions is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Duties:

• Lead design, construction, and maintenance of space-related facilities and test stands.


• Develop engineering plans for new test stands and modify existing facilities.


• Manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.


• Provide technical guidance on structural, mechanical, and environmental aspects of facilities.


• Oversee testing and commissioning of facilities and test stands.


• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.


• Develop maintenance programs for ongoing facility operations.


• Collaborate with leadership and provide status reports on projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)


• Minimum of 10 years’ experience


• Experience in facility design and construction, particularly in aerospace or space systems.


• Strong knowledge of environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.


• Proficiency in computer aided design software.


• Strong communication and project management skills.


• Active Top Secret Security clearance
