About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to join their multi-state civil design practice. Youll lead site-development projects across local, regional and national markets (lower 48 states), serving Federal, municipal, retail, commercial, healthcare and industrial clients. This role offers both technical leadership on large, multi-discipline programs and mentorship of junior engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of site development projects: scope definition, feasibility studies, design proposals, engineering reports and construction-phase support

• Develop and maintain QA/QC checklists, production drawing templates and Civil 3D modeling standards

• Prepare cost estimates and proposals; participate in client presentations and city/county development reviews

• Coordinate with geotechnical and survey teams; conduct site visits and document existing conditions

• Mentor civil designers and technicians; drive continuous improvement in workflows and standards

Qualifications

• Bachelors (or Masters) Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in multiple states (required)

• 5-10 years of site-civil design experience, including architectural/build-environment projects

• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Strong understanding of local codes, industry illustration standards and Federal Facility Criteria

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage clients and regulators

• Comfortable estimating fees, preparing proposals and accommodating occasional overnight travel
