Engineering firm specializing in civil/surveying/telecommunications projects throughout New England is searching for applicants to join our growing team.
We seek a Senior Civil Engineer with experience designing and permitting proposed development projects. Engineers with residential experience designing single home sites and those with commercial experience designing large building sites are both encouraged to apply. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydroCAD is preferred.
The right applicant must be self-motivated, detail oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and effectively manage projects.
Qualifications: Min. 5-year experience, B.S. in Civil Engineering, MA/RI P.E. preferred.
Software: Experience in AutoCAD 2020 (required), Drainage/Hydrology (HydroCAD software), Civil 3D (experience with grading, profiles/cross-sections), environmental permitting a plus.
Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of engineering theory and concepts and their application
- Proficient in the use of current technology (i.e., tablets, smart phones, laptops, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D, or other CAD platform, experience is desirable
- Strong technical aptitude and an eagerness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
