Overview:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a dynamic and growing civil engineering team. This role will focus on solving complex site development challenges and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in civil design standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Civil Discipline Lead for large, multi-discipline projects or oversee several smaller-scale projects.

Mentor and direct civil designers and technicians.

Develop project proposals, including fee estimates.

Prepare and review civil engineering documents such as feasibility studies, design narratives, formal reports, and calculations.

Conduct client and city development meetings.

Collaborate with internal and external project teams.

Travel occasionally for site visits and existing condition assessments.

Qualifications:

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in multiple states (required).

510 years of civil engineering design experience.

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with Federal Facility Criteria Whole Building Design Guide.

Experience with developing QA/QC checklists, drawing standards, and modeling templates.

Ability to accommodate occasional overnight travel by car or air.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with federal, municipal, retail, commercial, healthcare, or industrial clients.

Familiarity with local design trends and development codes.

Strong leadership presence and client-facing communication skills.
