Senior Civil Engineering- Project Manager (PE)

Finelli Consulting Engineers (FCE), a division of Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager – PE to join our team! FCE is a respected, multi-discipline consulting firm specializing in civil and municipal engineering, land surveying, land use planning, environmental permitting, and construction services in both public and private sectors. This position is for a seasoned engineer who will perform various planning and design services and manage team activities on a wide range of products.   

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Finelli Consulting Engineers team.  Duties include:

• Develop, review and oversee completion of site plan designs


• Attendance at local Municipal meetings/hearings including expert testimony


• Prepare project technical specifications


• Interact, support and collaborate with clientele


• Prepare cost estimates


• Monitor and manage design team activities


• Oversee administration of public bids


• Manage external coordination with regulatory agencies


• Review, evaluate, and test septic systems and soils

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• Minimum 8-10 years of related municipal/site/civil land development experience


• Successful history of providing expert witness services


• BS in Civil Engineering


• New Jersey Professional Engineering (P.E.) license


• Pennsylvania P.E. license a plus


• NJ CME certification, a plus


• Solid knowledge of local, county, and state current land use regulations, guidelines and standards


• Highly proficient in site grading design, stormwater management, and hydraulic and hydrologic analysis


• Highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
