We are a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) civil engineering firm seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead our bridge and horizontal structures department. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff; oversee hiring, performance reviews, and resource allocation.
• Drive business development and expand the company's market presence with local, county, and state clients.
• Manage department budgets, allocate resources, and ensure profitable project delivery.
• Provide technical expertise in bridge and horizontal structural engineering projects.
• Collaborate with office managers and practice leaders to coordinate strategic growth plans.
• Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in bridge and horizontal structural engineering.
• Proven project management and business development experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; structural design software experience (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or RISA) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with local government, county, or state clients.
• Prior supervisory or senior leadership experience.
