Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Set up and run multiple machines
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiency and cost savings
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and propose innovative solutions
• Embrace new technologies and stay updated on industry advancements

Requirements

•  Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with expertise in machine setup and operation
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated success in machining precision parts for military and aerospace applications.
• Required expertise in reading mechanical drawings and precisely interpreting tolerances and GD&T specifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of machining centers and controllers, with specific expertise in Makinos and Mazaks.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to adapt to change and embrace new technologies
• Be willing to be part of the company’s change in growth
