Job Description - Senior Construction Cost Engineer - LAMP Program
The Greenridge Group, a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management is seeking a Senior Construction Cost Engineer to join the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) at Los Angeles World Airports. This role is responsible for cost control, reporting, and financial analysis on multi-billion-dollar capital improvement projects including APM, ConRAC, RUE, and Auxiliary Curbs.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive cost engineering experience on large-scale, complex construction programs and demonstrate strong skills in financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
This is an opportunity to contribute to one of the most transformative aviation infrastructure programs in the U.S. As part of the LAMP Program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Los Angeles International Airport while working on world-class capital projects.
*Salary Range: $160K/Year-$175K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Monitor project budgets for LAX’s multi-billion-dollar Capital Improvement Program.
Review subcontractor invoices and ensure alignment with Schedule of Values and WBS accounts.
Prepare job cost reports and perform cost-to-complete analyses, including reconciliations of commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
Support project management teams with accurate financial data, progress reports, and trend logs.
Review and reconcile task orders, bids, change orders, and allowances against budgets.
Maintain cost data in Prolog, PM Web, and related databases.
Develop reporting tools to communicate complex project progress and cost assessments.
Provide documentation for LAWA governance, capital improvement change processes, and project closeout.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Certifications: Certified Cost Engineer (CCE/CCP) required; PMP, PE, or other licensure a plus.
Experience:
10+ years of cost engineering experience in large-scale construction projects (aviation project experience preferred).
Experience leading teams of cost engineers.
Familiarity with progressive GMPs, Design-Build, DBFOM, and CMAR delivery methods desirable.
Skills:
Proficiency with cost reporting systems (Prolog highly desirable).
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and PM Web.
Strong analytical and communication skills across technical and executive levels.
Self-starter with proven accuracy, reliability, and results-driven focus.
