This role is designed for professionals who can bridge finance, data, process improvement and strategy, delivering executive-ready insights through Power BI dashboards, advanced DAX, KPI frameworks and process performance analytics. You will work directly with client finance leaders, executives, and cross-functional teams to design and implement analytics solutions that support informed decision-making and business performance.
As the Senior Consultant – Business Intelligence, the role will be:
Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders on financial analytics, performance management and process optimization
Conduct end-to-end process reviews and identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and improvement opportunities using data-driven insights
Translate business, finance, and process requirements into scalable BI and reporting solutions
Facilitate workshops with finance and operational leaders to define KPIs, process metrics, and reporting standards
Assist with the ERP implementation and integrate report design with the deployment team
Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and alignment with financial source systems
Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for executive and operational audiences
Develop analytics and dashboards that track process performance, cycle times, exceptions, and bottlenecks
Apply accounting and financial expertise to ensure reporting accuracy and business relevance
Support executive reporting, board-level dashboards, and performance review processes
Support end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements from discovery through deployment
Partner with clients to define process performance targets and monitor improvement initiatives
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants
Contribute to internal methodologies and best practices in BI and process analytics
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
CPA license strongly preferred
Significant experience with ERP implementations
Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt ideal
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, FP&A, or Finance
Prior experience in a consulting or professional services firm preferred
Solid understanding of data modelling principles (star schema, dimensional modelling)
Experience working with ERP or financial platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics 365) is a plus
