Senior Consultant – DHS/FEMA Support
Job Title: Consultant
Company: ASR International
Location: The ASR Washington Metropolitan Area office with frequent visits to the Department of Homeland Security facilities in the Washington Metro Area
Job Type: Full-Time
Travel: Approved travel may be required.

We are seeking dedicated professionals to support our contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for NTED Program Support Services.
Job Summary:
The Consultant Delivers operational consultative, managerial, and administrative support for day-to-day execution of the Training Partners Program (TPP). Duties include assisting with documentation and preparation for all-hazards curricula reviews; supporting training delivery audits through data collection and preliminary analysis; coordinating materials and logistics for Review Boards; conducting research on emergency management topics; facilitating stakeholder communications; and providing general program support to ensure seamless delivery of logistical, managerial, and consultative services.

The Consultant will assist in evaluating client processes and contributing to project tasks, supporting the design and implementation of training support services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in evaluating processes, procedures, techniques, or systems.
  • Prepare analysis, reports, and presentations.
  • Conduct day-to-day tasks like interviews, data collection, and synthesis.
  • Contribute to project success, schedule adherence, and quality.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction.
  • Proficiency in automated word processing, graphics, and desktop publishing systems.
  • Bachelors degree and a Master's degree in a relevant field, 12 years of general experience required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in management or performance consulting.
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
